Movie in-short: A rich man's past comes knocking when he is informed that one of his employees is his long lost son. He does not know that he's being cheated and that his real son is the one who loves his niece.

Movie story-line: Sanam Teri Kasam is the story of Sunil and his search for his father who has gone somewhere when Sunil was just a child. He meets Reena Roy en-route who leads him to his father Kader Khan. But unfortunately, somebody else (Ranjeet) has already been planted by Jeevan as Sunil and hence, Kader Khan neither recognises his real son, nor allows him to meet Reena Roy. In the end however, every hurdle is removed and all is well. The film is also known for its super hit songs, especially 'nisha, nisha, nisha'. The other songs 'sheeshe ke gharon mein', 'kitne bhi tu kar le sitam' were also hit.

Movie synopsis: Ramlal is accused of murder by a smuggler Wilson to save his life he elopes from the city leaving behind wife and son Sunil (Sunny).In the train he meets a dying man who asks him to take care of his daughter Nisha and his property.Years later Sunny makes his living by dancing and singing in hotel while Ramlal lives a wealthy life with Nisha in Shimla as Manoharilal w .Nisha and Sunny meet in Mumbai and have a tiff with each other leading to differences when Sunny and Nisha meet in Shimla they again have a tiff. Coincidentally Sunny has got job at Manoharilal's place and asks Nisha not to tell him about their differences they both get closer and fall in love.But Wilson finds that Ramlal is alive and asks his son Robinson to pose as Sunil son of Ramlal and woo Nisha to marry him.
