Movie in-short: A diabolic suspense which never gives the viewer any respite....Shall Helene save her husband? But it may mean sending an innocent man to the guillotine..
Movie story-line: Hélène and Aldo Giovanni are a circus trapeze double act and a couple. Aldo is temporarily replaced by former-partner Alexandre when the former is injured. The two get into a fight and the following day Alexandre is discovered dead. Hélène suspects her husband is responsible for the murder.
Movie synopsis: Helene and Aldo are trapeze artists in a circus ;the man is injured and has to be replaced by Alex, his former partner who knows too much about him.Alex is murdered ,and Helen is convinced that her husband ,Aldo ,committed the crime.But it's Bernardin ,who has a performing dogs act on the ring ,who is accused of the murder.He is sentenced to death ,and as he has a wife and children,Helene is desperate .Shall she give Aldo away to the police?
