Movie synopsis: An essay on the military revolutionary movement of April 25, 1974, based on first-person retrospective of events the coup leader, Otelo Saraiva de Carvalho, until the end to the revolutionaries leadership in November 25, 1975; the memories have a counterpoint analysis in excerpts of texts read by the author, the philosopher Eduardo Lourenço, and end in a brief dialogue between the two. The essay is interspersed with reflections and fictional conversations with friends by Robert Kramer, playing himself as an American journalist in Lisbon in 1981, and is followed by the historic speeches of two military leaders, on July 13, 1974.
