Movie story-line: Murli is a stylish and handsome young man who is forced to get married to an ugly village girl, Arukani, by his father. To escape from his wife and his father, he takes a transfer to Bangalore. In Bangalore, he gets friendly with one of his colleague, Julie, who is modern and beautiful. Both fall in love and get married. Murli does not reveal his past to Julie. However, Murli's happiness is short-lived. His first wife Arukani accidentally lands up at his house in Banglore. How does Murli manage the situation and hide Arukani's identity from Julie? What will be Arukani's fate? Will Julie get to know the truth?

Movie synopsis: The movie totally belongs to Suhasini. Moihan , an ambitious manager in a private firm in Chennai is called by his father to come home and he is married ( against his wishes ) to Suhasini . he never gets a chance to see his bride before marriage . at the altar he realises that she is dark with thick coarse hair and unrefined in her mannerisms . Mohan , used to social etiquette of big cities is shocked but accepts her due to his father's pressures . He scolds her constantly for lack of manners or etiquette or sense . She takes everything in her stride .When he goes to Delhi for some award ceremony he meets glamorous Radha who has come from Bangalore office . Both of them get friendly and very soon he gets a transfer to Bangalore . Very happy to get away from his uncouth wife , he runs there and again meets Radha who is not aware of his marital status . when she expresses her desire to get married ,he does not hesitate or think much. very soon both start living together with her brother SV Sekar under one roof . Meanwhile his concerned father calls him under the pretext that his mother Kamala Kamesha is not well . When Mohan reaches his home town , he is forced to take his wife with him to Bangalore . Unable to stand against his father's will , he brings her to the big town and leaves her in the station . She finds her way to their house and starts working as their maid .Innocent Radha and gullible SV Sekar treat her as a family member . Very soon she realises that her husband has remarried Radha but keeps quite thinking of his reputation. Radha meanwhile takes her to a salon and changes her totally into a dusky beauty . Mohan is stupefied at his wife's image change. Mohan starts realising her good nature and is torn between the two . A few confusions , sentimental scenes later Radha comes to know .Conveniently for lucky Mohan , She sends him off with Suhasini back to Chennai while she stays back with her brother . Suhassini is super as a wronged wife showing quite resilient . Radha has a glamorous role to play . Mohan shows a lot of emotions very well as a happy go lucky person initially , then as a trapped husband looking for an escape , then a guilty bigamist ... Radha wears modern clothes to show her Christian status , Suhasini wears traditional cotton sarees to show her conservative role . Over all a nice movie .
